Run: October 19, 2008 – 8:00 am start, Check-in at 7:00 am, Limited to 52
Course: Another new adventure this year featuring approximately 34 miles of trails, dirt roads, hills, cliffs, bushwacking, stream crossings, and great views (weather permitting), and whatever else the RD can think of. Start and finish is at the Village Green Park, 2 blocks south of downtown on Fir Street.
Pre-Run: There is an optional get together at SOBA Noodles (Asian) on Saturday evening at 6 pm in Sisters (east end of Cascade Ave).
Awards: Awards are based on the best Poker hands drawn from collecting one card at each of the 5 aid stations on the course. Something to all participants!
The purpose of this run is raise awareness of the Sisters Community Trails System, to celebrate the accomplishments of ultra-runners of all abilities, and to HAVE FUN! All levels, abilities and ultra-virgins welcome.
Entry: $34 (limited to the first 52) prior to Oct 1st, $52 thereafter. Additional donations for the development of the Sisters Community Trails are gladly accepted. Make check payable to S.O.A.R.
